An evening of classical music
Sunday 19th June at 7.30pm On Sunday 19th June Wyndcliffe Court's oak panelled ballroom will play host to a concert of classical music organised by Wye Valley Music as part of its 'Music in June' series of concerts. Starting at 7.30 pm the concert will be performed by cellists Rosie Biss and Alice Neary. Rosie is principal cello of Welsh National Opera as well as being an accomplished chamber musician, soloist and teacher. Alice enjoys a distinguished career as both chamber musician and soloist. She is a member of the Gould Piano Trio and also plays regularly with the famed Nash Ensemble. Rosie and Alice will be performing music by Boccherini, Chopin and Paganini among others. Shakespeare in the Garden Following on from last year's extremely sucessful performance of Twelth Night and Much Ado about nothing we are delighted to welcome back the GB theatre company with a double bill of As you Like it and Romeo and Juliet. Painting and Sculpture Holidays in the South of France:
Artists in residence at Wyndcliffe Court, Christine Baxter and Alex Brown are themselves accomplished artists, Christine's 'Artstone' sculpture work can be found for sale within the gardens Sculpture Shows, as well as online on the Artstone website. Show curator Alex Brown's paintings can also be viewed and purchased from the Tea Room Gallery here at Wyndcliffe. Both have years of experience in their field, as well as experience teaching their art to others. For the past few years the pair have organised and headed creative holidays from their property in the South of France.
