It is with much pleasure that we can confirm Wyndcliffe Court will be opening for its fourth year running, with two seasonal ‘Elegance and Form’ Sculpture Shows.
Spring ‘Elegance and Form’ Friday 15th April until Sunday 26th June (change over week Monday 27th – Thursday 31st June) Summer ‘Elegance and Form’ Friday 1st July until Sunday 25th September
Wyndcliffe Court is a grade II listed Arts and Crafts House and Garden nestled in the heart of the Wye Valley. With sculpted topiary, formal gardens, sunken and kitchen gardens and breath taking views across the estuary, the series of garden 'rooms' designed by Henry Tipping, lend them selves well to the display of garden sculpture. We have been open for the part three years, welcoming thousands of guests and selling hundreds of pieces of artwork each show. We have a tea-rooms in our Oak Ballroom, serving afternoon teas and lunches, gift shops, antiques, plants and gallery. The house and gardens are popular destinations for groups and coaches, and over 3,000 guests have taken advantage of our seasonal entrance fee offer. Voted top 10 Sculpture gardens in Wales by the Telegraph, we have gone from strength to strength and look forward to our best season yet in 2016.
As before, any sales which take place during the exhibition, will be subject to 25% commission. Proceeds from sculpture sales will be transferred directly into your account usually every few weeks. We have a £20 application fee per show, payable on acceptance, which goes towards the marketing and publicity. We produce in-house a full colour glossy a5 brochure each show, which is distributed to all guests. The change over week is a chance for artists to refresh sculptures for the Summer Show, and for sales to be collected by customers.
